Saturday, April 4: Padilla Bay Upland Trail/Samish Flats; 8:30 am-11:00 am

Meet in the parking lot of the Padilla Bay Interpretive Center: 10441 Bayview Edison Rd, Mt. Vernon. We welcome birders of all levels, and the Interpretive Center has binoculars to loan to beginners with an ID. We will walk the Upland Trail plus to/from the viewing platform in search of upland songbirds, birds of prey and waterfowl. Dress for the weather. This may include  a drive onto Samish Flats seeking other species including raptors (Discover Pass required for this portion). There is no registration for this field trip. This is not a handicapped-accessible trip due to uneven footing on the trails.
