March 25: LILY AND LIZARD LAKES LOOP*

8:30-3:00

This loop will be done in a clock-wise direction. On Blanchard Mountain hike the Lily Lake, Larry Reed, and Max’s Shortcut Trails to Lily Lake and then on to Lizard Lake by way of a connector trail from the North Butte Trail. Return to trail head via the Lizard and Lily Lake Trails. 8.6-mile loop, 1600 ft total el. gain. We usually divide into faster and slower groups so carpool accordingly.

MEETING PLACES AND RETURN TIMES: Meet at 8:30 am at the Chuckanut Drive park-n-ride, exit 231 from I-5 on the east side of I-5. 2:00 – 3:00 pm return to trailhead depending upon speed. Or meet at the Blanchard Forest Upper Trailhead at 9:00 am. You may leave when your group returns to the car. Restroom available at trailhead. Discover Pass required.
