March 4: HOYPUS POINT AND ALA SPIT*

A tree-huggers hike complete with old-growth giants, mature alder, and a green understory of sword ferns.

MEETING PLACES AND RETURN TIMES: Meet at the North Hoypus Point trailhead parking lot on Cornet Bay Rd. at 9:00 am. Low tide will occur close to noon this day to improve access and choices for routes. You are free to leave when you return to the trailhead.
