May 13 FORT EBEY STATE PARK and THE KETTLES*

This self-guided hike at Fort Ebey State Park and/or on the Kettles trails near Fort Ebey State Park will take you past wild native rhododendrons that may well be in bloom. Mileage varies as hikers can choose their own options.
Meet at 9:00 am at the March Point Park-n-Ride to carpool or at the trailhead at 9:45 am. We will sign in at the trailhead.
To get to the trailhead, drive Highway 20 south through Oak Harbor. 5.5 miles from the southern city limits, turn right (west) onto Libby Road. In 1 mile turn left onto Hill Valley Drive and drive 0.5 miles to the park entrance. Turn right on Valley Drive, go through the entrance station, turn right again on Fort Ebey Road and follow the road until it ends at the north parking lot, where you will find restrooms and a picnic table.

You may leave when all in your car are returned to the trailhead. Dogs allowed on leash. WA State Discover Pass required.
