Birding Field Trip-Blaine Semiahmoo/maybe Birch Bay

Sunday, Feb. 15 – Blaine Semiahmoo/maybe Birch Bay – 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

We will begin the trip at the first overlook on the right-hand side of the road as you drive into the Blaine Harbor area.  From Blaine, we will go to Semiahmoo, then Birch Bay (if there is time).  Target birds include Long-tailed Ducks, Eared and Western Grebes, Black Scoters, hopefully Black Oystercatchers, and Black Turnstones. Please bring scopes (if you have them), dress for the weather and bring a lunch/beverage.
