Sunday, June 1 – Ted Reep Trail Birding & Brunch (Mount Vernon) 8:30–11:30 am+
Trip Leaders: Lisa Hopkins and Monica Liebert, (treasurer@skagitaudubon.org)
Pre-registration required: see information below
Please join us for this trial birding and brunch event. It was originally scheduled for Mother’s Day, but we rescheduled it to a date that hopefully works for more people. By June, we should see some Lazuli Buntings and the eagles are again nesting in the same cottonwood tree. This will be a 2+ mile walk near the Skagit River. We should see many songbird species, a few ducks, raptors and woodpeckers. Afterwards, those who wish to can join us for a brunch/lunch at a local eatery TBD, at your own cost. The trail has NO BATHROOMS and some mosquitoes this time of year, so please plan accordingly. Register here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094BA4AF28A4F4C16-56252662-may11mothers
