George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary is a protected area in Delta, BC, and is part of the Fraser River estuary. It is designated a site of Hemispheric Importance by the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network. The sanctuary consists of over 300 hectacres of managed ponds, natural marshes, wetlands and treed pathways. Learn more about the sanctuary and the birds here: www.reifelbirdsanctuary.com.
