DECEMBER 30TH’S HIKE IS   NORTHERN STATE RECREATION AREA (NSRA) (TUESDAY) Hike trails in this Skagit County Park east of Sedro-Woolley, many options available, up to 7 or more miles, little elevation gain. Meet at 9 AM in the NSRA parking lot off the Helmick Road. Drive east of Sedro-Woolley on Highway 20 past the stoplight at Fruitdale Road. Continue about 2 more miles and turn left onto the Helmick Road. Drive north on the Helmick Road about a half a mile and the parking lot will be on your left. Allow 3 to 4 hrs for the hike  You may leave when all are safely back to your car. No pass; dogs on leash
