This will be a two-plus mile walk near the Skagit River. The terrain is flat and traverses through grasslands, wooded areas, small ponds and one slough, offering a variety of bird habitats. We should see many songbird species and a few ducks, raptors and woodpeckers as well. Please be aware, the trail has NO BATHROOMS and the approach to the trail can be muddy, making this inaccessible for wheelchairs. We will meet on the west side of the YMCA parking lot.
