Hike-WWU Sculpture Park and Arboretum (Wed. Mar 27, 2024 9:00 am)

March 27: Sculpture Park and Sehome Hill Arboretum (Western Washington University)

Taking advantage of spring break, Sal Russo will lead the group on a tour of the WWU Sculpture Garden with a peek into some historic interiors and then on to Sehome Hill Arboretum, which has a tower that offers great views of Bellingham.

Meet to sign in at 9:00 a.m. at the north end of C Lot between South College Drive and Bill McDonald Parkway. The parking fee is $2.00/hour. Alternatively, there is free parking in the dirt lot near Fairhaven Village Green and people can carpool or hike up from there.

No passes required. Dogs are not allowed on this hike. You may leave when your group returns to the car.

Skagit Audubon Society holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month except for the months of July and August. We meet at 7:00 pm at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center (Google map), 10441 Bayview-Edison Rd. Mount Vernon. Meetings are open to all.

The board of directors meets at the same location at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, except for the months of July and August.
