Watching birds, protecting habitat, connecting with nature

Saturday, April 30, 2016 ~ 10 a.m. to Noon

Native Plant Garden area of the Skagit Display Gardens

Washington State University’s Northwest Research & Extension Center in Mount Vernon.

(16650 State Highway 536)

“Creating Bird-Friendly Communities” is one of the 5 parts of National Audubon’s Strategic Plan. Supporting this focus, during the coming year there will be a big emphasis on landscaping and gardening with native plants. It’s an easy way to expand—or begin—your backyard habitat for wildlife. You’ll find a good selection of native trees, shrubs, bulbs, perennials, ground covers and ferns. (No Presale).
